"Services That's Distinctive  -- Experience The Difference"

On Friday, April 8, 2011 the Angel of the Lord came and escorted His servant Constance “Connie” Cornelia Nelson from labor to eternal rest.

Connie was born on August 29, 1927 to the late Martin Van Morgan and Ora Coleman-Morgan in Brooklyn, New York. Connie was eldest of 5 siblings. She was preceded in death by her late Husband Lewis E. Nelson, 2 Sons, Leo Cooke, Sr. and John Cooke, 2 Brothers, Martin Morgan, II and Charles Morgan, 1 Sister, Carlotta Walker.

Early in life Connie was baptized in the St. Paul Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. Later she joined and faithfully served in the Holy House of Prayer for all People under the Leadership of Elder E.D. Sangster also located in Brooklyn, New York.

Later, God directed the Family to move to Farmville, VA where they joined the Spirit of Life, COGIC. She faithfully served on the Mother’s Board in the Senior Choir, as a prayer Warrior, in the Kitchen Ministry, and Licensed as a Missionary. After a lengthy commitment to Spirit of Lice, COGIC, the family joined the St. Luke, COGIC, Keysville, VA, where she continued her faithful service unto the Lord. She served with diligence, compassion, and strength. No task was too great or too small, she gave her all.

Connie was a Mother of 6, Leo Cooke (Deceased), Constance Daughtry, John Cooke (deceased), Deborah Prince, Rodney Cooke, and Roman Nelson, with a host of Grand Children, Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grand Daughter. Her extended Family is far too much to name.
