George Francell Brown was born on November 13th 1937 to the late Deacon Patrick and Fannie Mae Brown and departed this life at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia on May 8th 2011. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of the Union Baptist church, in Cumberland, VA., where he served as Trustee for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Gary Smith (Brenda) of Arvonia, VA, one daughter Veronica Smith Holman (Charles) of Paterson, NJ., four grandchildren; Charles, Shawnta, Victoria and Victor; three great-grandchildren; Kamron, Malaysia and Mykel; one sister Clara Brown of Cumberland, VA. Two sister-in-laws, one devoted Ellen Brown of Cumberland, VA and Janie Brown of Spotsylvania, VA; a devoted niece, Kathy Johnson, of Richmond, VA; a very special and devoted friend of many years, Mary Bartee of Cumberland, VA and family, Albert, George, Vincent, Terry, Cora, and Mary Etta, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
