Obituary
On Monday, March 28, 2011, our loved one, Paige Marie Stokes drifted away to be with God at Wayland Nursing Home, Keysville, Virginia at 9”45 a.m., she took the Master’s hand and began her journey to her Heavenly home. Paige Marie White Stokes was born January 15, 1945 to the late Rosa and Willie White, in Charlotte County, Virginia. She received her education in Prince Edward County Public Schools System. She excepted Christ at an early age at Forest Baptist Church in Meherrin, Virginia and remain a member until her passing. Paige was a certified caretaker for many years in the surrounding counties. She loved her job and those she cared for loved her.
In 1962 Paige was united in holy matrimony to her husband Frank Stokes. During this marriage they were blessed with three children.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Her husband, Frank Stokes, Two daughters: Frances Arrington (Vincent A.) and Debra Marsh (Vincent M.), One son: Frank Stokes II, Five Grand-children: Alisha Mona Stokes, Vincent Edward Marsh, Jr., Caibien Paige Marsh, Kelsie Nevea Marsh and T’Laija Nevaeh Marsh. Two sisters: Annie M. Scott and Rosa A. Barnes (Arnold), Four Brothers: Willie White, Daniel Jefferson (Jay), Floyd Jefferson (Lottie) and Roy Jefferson (Phyllis). One sister-in-law: Margaret Ernestine Page, One brother-in-law: Eugene (Buck) Stokes, One aunt: Eunice Spraggs, Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and devoted caretakers….
